Belt Grading

As your child learns the curriculum, they will advance through the belt levels when they are ready. In order to achieve their next rank, a student must demonstrate their proficiency in what they have learned during their class training. Testing forms will only be given to those students when the Instructor believes that they are prepared and ready to be tested. We strongly believe that belts have to be earned and we will not allow students to test if our instructor feels that they are not ready and do not have an excellent chance of passing. Please remember that everyone works at their own pace and this is not a race. Not all students progress at the same rate and some may take longer before the Instructor deems them ready to test and there is no shame in that.
